Tbh I think it's kinda funny when I see an aphobe whining about demirose like "that's everyone!!" and then two posts down someone else is saying frayrose is the universal experience and I'm like. Did you guys look up the definition of these terms at all? They are both identities that are almost the exact opposite of each other, which one does everyone experience??? (the answer is neither). You can't have two universal experiences that are polar opposites. That's not how this works-

What do you think of the lesbian n wlw posts with "men dni" in their tags?

i mean, I do think people can set whatever boundary they want, and if theyre looking to date/flirt/an nsfw account then it makes sense if they're not attracted at all to men to not want to interact with them. but the problem is normally that those blogs almost always aren't considering multigender lesbians or any lesbian who's connected to manhood in some way. not a "ik these lesbians exist I just don't want to interact with men at all" way, and more like a "I don't think they're real lesbians or deserve to be part of lesbian advocacy" way. it will just be a regular lesbian or even just sapphic blog who makes positivity posts for other sapphics who put "men dni" and very much purposefully exclude bigender, genderfluid, and other man-aligned sapphics

i normally don't follow blogs geared towards wlw/qlw yearning or love (im demirose so it's made it difficult to relate and also haven't been in the headspace to read those posts), but I always stay away from ones that have men dni even though they probably aren't ever thinking of me when they say that and I don't even really consider myself a "man" anyway. but I still feel like people would get mad at me for engaging because with it

so aro/ace shipping in fandom mega increased cause of alastor from hazbin. i have my own issues with how vivziepop treated his orientation, but whatever. so my issue is not that he's shipped. whatever, ship and let ship. my issue is that SO MANY ppl were using the aro/acespec folks as like excuses. as in, "oh hes actually grayrose/demirose/ect so i can ship him" like??? one, you are shipping him in a allo way, two, just change his orientation in the damn fic/artwork ffs.

I dont think arguing ppl should never ship aspecs is helpful at all. its a fandom, ppl are going to ship. we should be focusing on the ppl who are using aspec identities as an excuse. there was a post talking about this that got put on reddit, and a ton of ppl were being aphobic.

it sucks cause everyone else sees the argument as 'aspecs are saying you can never ship them ever' and just refuse to see the argument of 'ppl are using aspec identities as an excuse to ship, and are using that aspec identity as essentially an allo one' or the dreaded 'it was their one true love and that makes this ship speecial'.

this whole thing has just increased tension between non partnering aspecs and partnering aspecs. also ive seen a lot of loveless and loving(?) aspecs stuff. then again, ive kinda distanced myself from aspec tumblr so. what do i know

Honestly, gatekeeping is one of my biggest red flags for any a-spec or LGBTQIA+ community. A lot of the good ones will kick out the gatekeepers, not people with certain labels. Don't settle for less from any community spaces.

Random Fact: I would really really love it for someone to nicknames me somthing along the lines if glitch or glitchy. Why you ask? Well, when thinking about my phantom limbs I realized that I felt that one of my eyes was red and the other bright blue. How I learned I was a otherkin: Well. I had always felt odd, almost non-human my entire life. I often Imagined myself as diffrent animals, some from fantasy and some from real life. Most of everyone thought I was pretending and that I would grow out of it. I did not however grow out of it. To this day I still will feel wings on my back and am able to see them so clearly in my mind. Not only that but many more things alike. I would be able to speak to the animals without any words. Some animals naturally flocked to me, well others took more time. However I was always ready to give all the love they deserve, no matter how long they needed. They also never scared me or harmed me like humans had. I was safe and at peace with animals. My parent didn't understand this but eventually let it go. I thought about it for a long time before I thought, maybe, just maybe I wasn't a human. Here's a guide for flags in use from this blog that are fine for photosensitives as far as I can tell. Keep in mind that this is just based on my experiences, and may not apply to all photosensitives. There's just a really big problem with flags not being friendly to photosensitives and accessibility with flag coining posts in general. I have a blue light filter on all devices I use to try to mitigate the eyestrain as well as my job being staring at computers all day.

Hypersexual + Hyperromantic (flag-mashups) - Headaches from the bright pinks. Combination flag is very visually busy and hard to actually tell what it is supposed to be combining.

Hyperromantic (luvlydevil) - Headaches from the bright pinks.

Hypersexual + Hyperromantic + combo (viraldoll) - The hypersexual one looks fine, as well as the hyperromantic one. The combo one has the yellow and white stripe a bit of a struggle to tell between the two of them.

Hypersexual (akumaii) - Colors are way too dark to be able to tell them apart easily at a glance, like the same issue as the first two but dark.

Questioning hypersexual (blood-moon-night-coining) - This one is fine.

Questioning hyperromantic (blood-moon-night-coining) - This one is fine.

Hypersexual redesign (dragoneating) - This is fine.

Hyperromantic aro (kiruliom) - No issues.

Hyperaromantic, hyperaroace, and hyperasexual (local-yurei) - The symbol is very dark and with the contrast of the colors behind it makes it hard to see with that middle stripe. The second one is dark and even harder to see than the first. Same problem with the last one.

Aroace hyperose and demirose hyperose (blood-moon-night-coining) - Mostly fine. I can see the first two stripes under the white stripe being hard to differentiate. It's very visually busy and can be overwhelming to look at.

Hyperromantic (caninophobia) - It's fine.

Hypersexual (epikulupu) - No issues. This is generally the one I prefer because of the lack of issues and it being very easy on the eyes.

Hyperrose/Hyperose (blood-moon-night-coining) - Very visually busy with the symbols, but the contrast and colors makes everything distinct enough.

The epikulupu flag is a good one as a default for hypersexuality due to how recognizable it is and lack of photosensitivity issues. It's just frustrating that so many of these flags either have issues with color contrast, visual business, etc that make them hard to look at and understand as a distinct flag at a glance.

Hi! I'll say now I am the person who made the Hyperose/Hyperrose (blood-moon-night-coining) flag, so I apologize for not making it very photosensitive. /gen Are there any proper tips you could give me to make any/all the flags used photosensitive-friendly? Such as would dulling colors help, adjusting the contrast, etc. I wish for everyone to be able to enjoy this blog and if just doing as simple as adjusting the colors on Hyperose (and or just making a version of the flag to be photosensitive), then I would willingly do it. For flags I didn't make, I don't know if they are comfortable with adjusting flag colors or things. So I sadly don't know what I should do for those.

so first it'll answer the question of "can you be this at the same time"- yes, absolutely. im an mspec lesboy (not really attracted to men, but am to genders under the nonbinary umbrella and pretty flexible when it comes to genderfluidity and if we had already been dating) who's both on the ace and aro spectrums (though I don't see myself under the label aro in any sense, I just say demirose). so technically that's me, the mspec aspec lesboy, so I can say for certain you can be all those things

as for how someone knows is they're an mspec lesbian or a lesboy, my response that is gonna be roughly the same for everyone that's asked me before, and that it's pretty hard for someone that isn't well, you, to know. with lesboy, it's really just if you feel it describes you accurately based off your own experience (like I've said before, similar to genderqueer). the only requirement really is being a lesbian, the best I can suggest to you is to try it and see how you like it. mspec lesbian is kinda similar, as someone can have their own person reasoning for calling themselves such, and im not in a place to tell anyone whether or not they're allowed to use that label. if you're attracted to more than one single gender, and experience sapphic or queer attraction to women, then yeah, go ahead with it.

ive been answering a few asks like these lately so I think I might wanna make a statement on what my advice is if you're figuring out if labels like lesboy are for you- use it. call yourself it, express yourself with it to others, try it out like a piece of clothing or a new name you're figuring out if you like or not. some "modifier" labels are not quite the same as asking if you might be trans or ace or bi. some rely on you exploring by using it, in order to figure out it fits you. I can't exactly help people in figuring out if they're actually a lesboy or not because it entirely relies on what means to the individual. again, similar to genderqueer. all I can suggest is to use it first, then see how you like it

ive recently accepted being a girl. so that is whati identity as amongst other nonmen labels. i prefer relationships with nonmen and women rather than men. for men, the thought is okay but i have no interest in executing anything with one. on paper theyre okay, but i dont see myself dating or being intimate with a man. i would be okay with dating nonmen and possible intimacy as long as our relationship is close. i'll yearn for it but, no interest until a strong relationship is established. ive been questioning the sapphic label but im not sure.

From what you describe you could be a lesbian!! It's okay to like men, but you wouldn't really date one, so probably a lesbian. (Ofc lesbian can do whatever they want but let's say we're talking about the ones who don't date men). And of course, if sapphic suits you better, then use that!
